Toll tag question....

So coming from WI we didnt have to have any obnoxious stickers/tags on our cars at all. I just bought a tolltag and man its UGLY!!!

As you guys know the T is surrounded by an orange circle and a blue rectangular boarder. My question is(since I HATE the color blue)can I trim off the blue border leaving the circled T and chip inside and just stick that to my windshield?

Anyone have any other suggestions? I just DESPISE stickers anywhere on my car.

Im dreading putting the registration and inspection stickers in the bottom corner once I get TX registration and DL

u dont even need to put the sticker on ur windshield. the cameras will take a picture of ur plate and will match it to ur account so dont even bother puttin it on ur windshield. i never did. plus a friend inside the ntta told me the cameras only catch 80% of cars that pass through there so u will save money by not havin the tag on ur car.

^^^ yeah just make sure that you have money in your tolltag account so they dont try to overcharge you for fee for not having money available in the account..... i have mine right next to the rearview mirror and you cant see from out side cause of the dark tint at the top of the windshield.....

I have the old school toll tag, but how can you get in/out of say the airport if you don't have the toll tag? I understand the cameras will catch the regular tolls, but I go to the airport often enough that I need a quick way to get in/out.

Fixed...

This is his ride now

Back on topic - the only thing you wont be able to help is the inspection and the registration in the window..

As far as the tolltag - I just leave mine in the console and it still reads it - or just do what E-Ban sed to just let them look you up via license plate..

I got the old plastic one, I spray painted it black the day I got it 4-5 yrs ago and nobody can see it!

Doesnt your G have the black dark tint line on the top of the windshield? Stick it behind that?

when I had my G, I put that rubber stuff that you line cabinets with on the bottom and just set it up near the clock. It never moved no matter how hard I drove and it always worked...

I don't go to the airport all that much, so I think I might take mine out
