DFW Gaming Thread
Bought Catherine yesterday (PS3 version obviously). WOW. It is definitely the....strangest...game that I have ever played.
And oddly enough, I actually like it. A lot. In a weird sort of way it is refreshing and a relief from all of the cookie-cutter FPS and other such games that have flooded the market the past few years.
But holy hell the game is HARD. I didn't take it very seriously at first and now I spend hours either punching the couch, yelling at my TV, or coming dangerously close to throwing my controller across the room. It is definitely not a game for anyone with a short fuse or an inability to be patient/think. It really takes me back to the NES days where you actually had to have skill in order to beat a game because you only got a certain number of tries before it was game over SUCKA.

I was talking to one of the owners at playntrade about it today. It definately seems like a wierd game. The collectors edition has boxers and a pillowcase lol. He was telling me about the character getting stabbed in the head by a fork from one of the c/katherines.
I rented Homefront yesterday and played a little bit. It was pretty fun. I read that the campaign was short like 5-10 hours. Which is a let down but everything else was really solid.
Im really looking forward to the next MMO. Im selling my rift account if anyone is interested.
