Would be kewl to have the draft next weekend to ensure we have it all setup for the first game of the reg season (first week of Sept)



You don't have to know everything about football, if you've never played before, it's really simple.. Certain positions get points for doing certain things like running/passing yards, touchdowns, field goals, etc, You get a whole team's defense and they get points for preventing the other team from running up the score, interceptions, etc.. NFL gives you all the stats you'd need to decide what player you would want for a certain position. You can trade players, put players on the bench, etc based on how they play and if they're generating points for you or if you just think they'll have a stand out game the following week. NFL.com will randomly set the play schedule and I believe we need 10 teams to have a "league". So lemme know.

It's just fun to play against friends for more bragging rights, like any of us need it..

Here's how the starters work..

Quarterback (QB) - 1
Running Back (RB) - 2
Wide Receiver (WR) -2
Tight End (TE) -1
Kicker (K) -1
Defensive Team (DEF) -1


so from the players you "draft" you'll need to decide who you're going to start (you will also draft 6 "bench" players as well). So say for instance who you drafted got hurt, and you drafted another quarterback, you can use that one instead.

Say for instance it's my team vs Drew's team week 1..

It'll be my players that I've drafted vs Drew's players.. Whoever's players play better in their prospective live games (based on the points awarded) wins the matchup for that week.. (including the defense that can potentially lose you points as well)

It's that simple.. At the end of the season, the 4 best teams will play in the playoffs, we can decide then if we want to change up the rules and "play for something" since everyone will know how to play by then

There are also trades and a trade deadline which is Nov 25th.. You can trade players among teams and what not as well.. It's really fun.

HELLZ YEAH!!! My people.. keep'em coming.. the more the merrier.. Remember be there for the live draft.. It's pretty kewl. I was in a mock one last night just to see how it was..

You'll want to start thinking in terms of positions and who you'd wanna draft kind of early, so you'll know who you wanna pick. You get 2 mins per pick, then the computer will auto pick for you if you haven't made a selection.
