Hi Guys I live In Euless, Just by Grubbs Infiniti, I'm trying to swap my brakes to a slotted drilled rotors and good pads, nothing too expensive or fancy, i'm tired of my brakes squeeking all summer long. if you know anyone close by please let me know. i would like to go to somewhere someone has swap something for themselves.

After the brakes, i'm going after the Injet Cold Air Induction Long Kit.

thanks for any info

Get on the DIY pages. Everyone is always scared to do their own brakes for some reason but they are one of the easiest things to do yourself.

That Sounds Awesome, However I havent find a good set of Drilled Rotors and Pads here locally. any shops around here carry those or should i buy them from Ebay. I was trying locally in case they dont fit.

^ why do you want drilled rotors? unless you want to track your car, you dont need drilled rotors, just get the normal rotors from auto-zone, they work just fine.
also you cannot or i guess it is not recommended to re-surface drilled/slotted rotors, so you have to replace them once they start getting grooves.

get some normal rotors from auto-zone.
get some stoptech or hawk brake pads from one of the vendors on this website. make sure you get the right ones (brembos vs non-brembos), depending on what calipers you have.

change your rotors.
change your brake-pads.
do a brake fluid flush
and you are set!

I wanted some for the COOL Factor. but honestly i want something that wont give me a headache. every summer my pads and rotors are so noisy sounds like a train brakes and the rotors have more glaze than my dougnut.

I just want those two things to stop......

Honestly if your oem rotors aren't bad just buy pads and upgrade your brake lines and call it a day

The Rotors need to be deglazed or re-surface them which last time i checked with the Dealer they wanted $130 a axle even if the car only had 7k miles on the ODO. thats why i dont believe on any warranties any more.

After going around and around I finally decided to take it to the professionals
Just Brakes in Euless did a great job I choose the super premium pads, new hardware and all rotors cut the car drives like a dream again. I spended $200 bones so it was 1/3 of what grubbs wanted.

I will not bring my car to a dealership again.

Thanks again to everyone for the ideas and suggestions. If you guys need some brake job check with Alan he will hook you up.
