DFW airport... close by...
There are some good eats around I-121 outside the Grapevine mall.
There are some good bargain stores inside Grapevine mall.

Love Field airport... close by...
Just go to uptown, there are 1000s of good eats there.

 

Uptown has too many good places for me to suggest just one...
Perry's steakhouse is awesome!
