I was suppose to have Focals installed in my car on the 1st, but they are on backorder. I was shown some Polk speakers that I can install tomorrow. I liked the way they sound and they are the same price, but I don't know what the quality rating is compared to the Focals. Should I wait for the Focal speakers, or go ahead with the Polk ones? HELP !!!!!!

Polk<Focal<DYNAUDIO......Dynaudio is the way to go. If you have never heard them I suggest you go find a place that does have them. Look in car audio magazines....Dyns win a lot in the sound quality department hands down unless you go with Macintosh but they are very $$$$$. Honestly, don't get Polks but if you can't wait get the high end of MB Quart. Cheaper and has good sound quality.

I don't rember the the focal speakers I was looking at, because I've gone back and forth so much. I do know that they were more on the lower end. The setup I'm thinking about doing from Polk is: SR6500-front, MMC650-rear, JL304-front amp, JLW6 10"-sub, JL501-sub amp.

If you're only going with one sub, I suggest going with the 4080 sub box and if you're going with JL I would go with MB quarts. Good combo
