DFW wheel alignment

As some of you have seen at the last meet in Plano, i got some new wheels for my car. after having my buddy driving it around during lunch as i am following in his car. i noticed that the back tires are butterflying out like it has been dropped. but i am on stock suspension. where do you guys go to get alignment done with aftermarket wheels?

TIA

Clark

I'm thinking about going to firestone and doing that lifetime alignment deal they have.

yeah i called them about that. $139 for lifetime alignment. Great Deal!!! anyways i told them about the concerns i was having and i brought it out there for them to look at. they said that the rears are suppose to be like that because of the traction control, eventhough they are noticibably butterflying out. i'm not sure if i believe them or not.

any thoughts???

It's a bit of a drive, but my friend is a manager at NTB in Lewisville. He's into road racing, and has a track built Integra. He knows his stuff. You should give him a call.

I would get a lifetime alignment if I was always adjusting my suspension

I'm not sure about the butterflying story.. but maybe they meant that the stock rears weren't adjustable enough to compensate for that.

I'm not sure if the lower control arms give you guys enough movement to compensate for a change in wheel size. My brother's G35 does the same thing.

How much do aftermarket adjustable rear lower control arms cost for you guys?

The stock suspension already has some negative camber ... putting on new wheels just makes it more noticeable IMO. I noticed it before & after my wheel swap.

Rear toe arms are a couple hundred bucks.
