Yeah so maybe that whole let's take the Skyline to track events idea may not work out so well after all.....

Well I'm still going unless the track shuts down. It's very sad to hear that this happened but I won't let this discourage nor give me cold feet about the track day. I've done the autocross events which really teaches you how your car can be thrown around at lower speeds, the track will just be the next step....

yeah, and this accident was done because way faster vehicles made for tracking were involved. It's harder to be put in the situation in our vehicles. I wasn't trying to detour anyone from going to MSR...it happens. 2 weeks after I raced at CaliSpeedWay, a guy died in his Porsche GT. Faster the car, the bigger the risk...plain and simple.

This is a very sad and tragic event. All the Apex staff is saddened by this loss of a fellow racer, husband, and father.

At MSR and Apex we put many safety measures in place.

Please be careful whenever you drive.
