1/4 mile and related mods

Hi.
I just recently bought a g and I have been doing alot of reading on intakes and the pros and cons.
I visit the local 1/4 mile track quite often and was just wondering from people who broke well into the 13's, which bolt on mods are most suitable to get me there and more specifically which intake is more suited for 1/4 mile runs and decent top end.
My previous ride was an 03 accord 6mt,and with a few bolts on and vafc-2 tuned I was able to run a 13.8 @ 101mph with a 2.1 60ft....I am not trying to boast or anything I am just trying to get some valuable info from experience members.

thanks

What were the conditions like for that run?

I don't think I've ever seen a 13.6@100 with a 2.0 sixty foot. Especially with an auto.

Was this with the stillen on the car?

Yes I only have the Stage 1, but it was around 90 degrees when I ran and humid. Sorry I can't give you exact but I am going to go again when it is cooler and hopefully I might be able to shave a tenth or 2 off. That was the first time I ran with the Stillen S/C on it.

Was that bad??

Hopefully I'll see some 14.2s or even a 14.1 with the spacer.

My best time is 13.9 @ 103mph 60ft is 2.295... Thats with Injen intake, MREV, and Kinetix hf cats... Took the cats off cuz of problems... But i have an 06 g w/ 6 speed tranny... For the people breaking into the 13's with an auto is either using F/I or some serious mods... I hate my 60ft time... With that trap speed it should be a mid/high 13...

Those large and wide 19s are killing his 1/4 mile times. The heat isn't helping either. On a set a 16" DRs and some cool 50 degree air, his SC coupe 5AT "should" be able to hit at least a 13.5@103mph.

I managed to dip into the the 13's stock! I removed the spare tire and jack for slight weight savings.

Congrats man, 105mph is flying. Very interesting race you had, i'm gonna guess you raced a car with a lot of torque? Which car was it? He got a worse 60 foot time than you but a better ET with a much lower MPH... very interesting.
