Gas was 1/4 tank full at the most so that was already taken care of.

This Coupe is the full Aero Sport Package with 19" rims...although I had my 16" Drag radials out back...they saved 10lbs per side and that equates to even more rotational weight saved. I would love to know if 03-04 17" Coupe rims fit b/c the Moda 6 Rims I had would not and I had to sell them...they would not even almost clear the dual piston calipers up front...but if I could get 17" or even 18" rims up front that might help right there.

I don't have the OEM NAV, but I do have the Magellan 760 Roadmate which weighs the same and I have the Scan Guage II velcroed on top of that. I gutted the car except for the glove box, arm rest and two front seats...everything else was gone.

Light cut times are weird at NE Dragway now...The Volkswagon I raced that ran a 14.137 at 99.84 cut a .085 and like I said when I staged the tree started going so I just saw him move and hit it...I cut a .118 so we both read lighted as far as that goes...which I could care less about...b/c I just cared about my time...not even beating him...but his 60' time was a 2.343 so I had already caught him by 60' and never looked back...although I can tell you he was right in my blind spot on the left so he was not far behind at all...maybe two car lenghts...he must have some upgrades....

-1033 density altitude? That's weird. What's the actual altitude of your track?

Not really. My local track's altitude is listed at 519 feet. Back in the winter, the DA's were in the neighborhood of -1666 feet.

Is that corrected or? I wasn't trying to ask a stupid question, from the OP it states some atmospheric conditions and density altitude factor which sounds like the the ET and trap are corrected.

NE Dragway sits close to sea level. When you have atmospheric conditions roll in that have high barometric pressure, low temperature, and low humidity, it has a great affect on the air density (ie oxygen content of the air). Sometimes the oxygen availability is such that it's more than it would be a sea level therefore giving the car 100%+ of it's power. Boss' runs were in air that gave his car about 105% power.

Sounds to me like NE Dragway is on the new R/T system which means a 0.000 R/T on a 0.500 second tree is a perfect light. That means a .085 light is really a 0.585 light. Not bad at all.

50 degrees and 68% humidity don't seem that low. That's why I ask.

Edit: I broke out the calculator, I guess that is about right. Why can't I have a track like that?

Last time I ran it was -

91.9 degrees
24.1 dew point
30.01 in/Hg pressure
at 2200 feet

Which is a density altitude of about 4720 feet.

I doubt that they are corrected, the proper corrections would actually give him slower times.

lol, I'm not much of a drag racer. Just the way it was posted looked like they were corrected numbers. Not that corrected numbers are bad, the lowest elevation 1/4 around socal is Cal Speedway at 1100 feet. LACR gives you a generic elevation correction to use, not sure what the Cal Speedway generic correction is.

Is Vegas better in the winter?
