Congrats man. It's quite a feeling isn't it? And quite an accomplishment as well.
I hope this helps to put to rest all of the "6mts are sooooo much faster than 5ats" bullshi.
What are your next plans?

Dude, I just realized you picked up 23.5mph in the last 1/8th. That's phenomenal, especially for an automatic.
I wonder if that's due to the combination of mrev and crawford plenums.

Thanks All...Yeah, I am still glowing about this run! I had tears of joy in my eyes when I got the slip...literally...after running 14.00 at over 100 4 times in my 03.5 5AT Sedan with the same mods minus the MREV+ and Stillen Cat Back...I was just so determined to break into the 13s.
Dave...I just posted what I did for my launch...which was nothing special at all...just do a search of my posts and you can find it in the other 5AT launch thread you have a lot of posts in. I would say the biggest thing...short version was...that I had no time to over think it...I did a very controlled burn out...IE, revved it to only 2500-3000 RPMS so as to not over heat the tranny...I also had to pull over on the way to the track b/c the car had so much power in the cold weather that w/the Nittos on I was losing all power to the wheel b/c the $*&*$ VDC was kicking on whenever I hit the gas...so I pulled the VDC fuse and that solved that...but I launched right off idle.
Yes, my previous best in this car...although it was 84F outside...was 14.24 at 100.82 I believe...so yeah...I knocked off...rounded...4/10ths and gained 2 mph...which is insane...that's like getting a small shot of NOS running through the car!!!
I also think the motor...at just over 8K on the odometer...is a lot more into the VQ sweet spot now!

Very nice. Does this car have more or less options than your sedan(i.e nav, rear spoiler, and such)? I have hope that you(or anyone with the same mods) could possibly do even better once everything is even more fine tuned and even with 1/4th of the gas tank full if it already wasn't.
