I think it's a factor of the gearing of the 6AT, torque converter slippage, and the fact that the IS350s seem to be terribly inconsistent when it comes to trapspeed. I've seen timeslips for stock IS350s doing 98mph to 103mph. That's a huge swing in MPH.

When u get up that hill to the dragstrip, it feels like the car is chocking. The air, altitude is horrible there thats why the IS had so low trap speed. We have done some freeway runs with him, after 3rd (80mph) its a even race.
