Ok everyone.. it seems most of everyones weak point in the 1/4 is the launch. including myself. So id like to know everyones technique and your time. Either high rev slip clutch, red light start, etc. thanks i think this thread will benefit many of us G owners who like to get the best performance from our G's..

 

rev the rpms to 2500 release the clutch till its engaging point before the light is green, then depending on the tires and road condition either drop the clutch and smash the throttle or slip the clutch just enough to not get excessive wheel spin then smash the throttle. A bit of wheel spin is healthy, the key is to get the rpms around 4k when the launch is complete. U don't want the rpms to drop or to red line right away. If it drops then u bogg the car and lose 60 time, if it shoots off to 6k then u are getting too much wheel spin.
