Launch (I know It's Been Gone Over B4)
Ok After attempting a launch in my G I ralized that I really need to learn to launch this car. It was a bad scene. I think I spun the tires and bounced off the revlimiter a few times, Not a pretty site. Now mind you Im uused to launching the S2000 which you drop and ishe just goes. Not the case for the G Im not used to all this low end tourqe and bigger car. Does anyone have any tips that will keep me from embarassing myself again? Pretty soon Im gonna have to run my Friends GTI 337 thats modded. i know I'll eat it alive but not if I cant launch. I might go to the track at some point too so a proper launch would be nice. Damn those Hondas, now Im accustomed to them and not a real car! Im sure this will all change soon however. Oh and the VDC in this car is awsome in the rain. But not when your trying to run that GTI, Though it was off.......Yeah I lost. LoL the car is broken in now I just have to be!

gumpdriver, you have to turn off VDC when racing, otherwise it will take like 2 seconds off your time for 0-60, not a good thing.
Launch at 4,000 if you want a squeal-show, launch higher if you want a smoke-show
Launch at 2,500 if you want to minimize both of those and maximize acceleration, i usually dont drop the clutch but rather feather it back until its fully engaged, takes about a second to do

Yeah I have to get used to it. With all this rain It's not gonna happen any time soon however. 2000-2500 should do the trick. just have to get used to letting the clutch go I'm to afraid im gonna burn it right now. This is my first NEW clutch and I wanna keep it that way but I guess it's gonna have to take a beating sooner or later huh. Well Guess Ill just have to practice.
