6MT - how to launch from stop light.
I'm still slow in launching from a stop light, I mean when in neutral from stop light waiting for the green light. I cant seem to launch quick without a little bit of a jerking motion, I was able to launch smoothly but it takes me about 3 sec..any tip on how to launch quicker?

Practice practice practice. Don't worry about trying to get quick launches while you are learning a manual. Trust me, been there done that this past month. Worry about getting smooth launches. Eventually you will be able to get nice quick launches.

Fast,
I know that you gotta admit that 1K was well worth the fact that you left everyone else at the start line whenever you hit it hard. It's kind of like that mastercard commercial; "Leaving everyone standing still at the start line while you take off.....priceless." haha

Shouldn't this be covered under warranty, as long as it's within reason? I mean I know that a good mechanic can look at transmission parts and tell if the car has been abused, but that is still a warranted part, right?

Are you sure about this? I may be wrong, but it seems like a clutch would be in a whole different category than brake pads. I understand the similarity as being friction-worn parts, but they're in totally different price ranges. Also, I wouldn't consider a clutch one of those things where you simply think to yourself "Oh, I'll have to replace that every once in a while from normal wear and tear." Does anyone know for sure?
