Smile 350z goes 10.40 @ 134

ghetto short edit, more videos to come.. http://www.performancefactory.com/vi...eremy_10.4.wmv

hey guys, well i finally put in the turbo 400 and got it running, i finished it last night and drove it to the store. felt fine so i decided to load it up on the trailer and drive and hour and a half to this event in bradenton florida. got there and everything was cool, this was the first time even turning the boost controller on so i didnt know what to expect.

First run, i powerbraked it a bit and launched really easy, i was at 15 psi and no nitrous, i ran 10.8 @ 130 with a 1.75 60 foot time. the car was soooooooooooooo smooth, shifted smooth and went very very straight.

Second and final run, i ran 17 psi this time, i powerbraked it a bit more but still not building boost off the line, launched and hit the nitrous this time. i have a 100 shot jets in there but no bottle warmer so it was probably about a 70-75 shot. only hit the nitrous in first gear, it never spun or did anything stupid but go straight VERY fast.

i love the tranny, have a few bugs to work out and it will be 100%. both runs i took off really really easy since it was the first time ever driving on the tranny, got both runs on good videos and will have them up as soon as chris (maximumsportz33) gets home and sends them.

after my second run i had a small issue, i reworked my whole coolant system this go around, i bypassed a lot of lines, well one that i bypasses evened out the flow around the radiator. this caused a lot of pressure to be built up on one side and overflowed the radiator overflow, this water went out and got the HKS DLI soaked and shorted out something in my stock computer, lol, im just glad we figured out what it was after a little bit..

had a great time today guys!!!!!

Awesome. I expect a 9.9 out of your car within 3 months.

Dude that is awesome! Even though you ran faster than before with the 6MT that video looked slower. It almost looked as though you weren't on it.

Do you have pics of your completed set-up? What does your shifter look like after the recent tranny swap?

hey man, check this thread out, i still have to sink the shifter down into the center console, thats about all i have left on the setup. then i will be happy with it.

it should fit right in the stock location minus the boot. there are tons of pictures if you go down on this thread
