Yeah well he tried pulling what the brake fuse and it didn't do jack. Of course, the question is whether or not he pulled the correct fuse. I don't know and I told him last night to log in and answer the question but he said he would do it today sometime.

even easier than pulling the fuse might be just unplugging the switch at the pedal..........maybe!

Or disconnect the yaw sensor in the center console. Disconnecting that turns off the traction control and stability control while still giving you ABS and all your brake lights.

When I removed the fuse panel, I didn't see anything that was explicitly called "The Brake Fuse", so I just pulled the one labeled "Stop Lamp."

Removal of this fuse prevented the brake lights from functioning, but that was it. As soon as I applied the brakes while attempting a burnout, the ecu would immediately cut power. So no burnouts the last two times at the track.

Quad: I read your suggestion regarding the switch behind the brake pedal, and inspected it today. The wiring harness doesn't appear to have any (visible) pressure tabs for removal. So what do I do, just pull it out?

And Dave, could you elaborate?

Trey, I haven't reviewed this saved link for sometime but it should shed some light on the Yaw sensor.
