So, my best run of the day was a 14.11 at 99mph.

I was consistenly running 2.1-2.2 60ft times without really beating my car up.

I was launching with minimal wheelspin because it is very hard to launch with an agressive clutch drop with our clutches high catch point. I am guessing that if I didn't have a care about my car I could have probably brought that down a bit.

The day was hot, >80F all day, so conditions were not ideal. Best case scenario I think I could come pretty close to 13's.


Couple of interesting stories from the day:

1. The first run of the day my friend with a TT V12 Mercedes coupe with the only known custom AMG ECU ran the fastest time of any TT V12 at 11.22 on his first run of the day.

2. My co-workers CLK AMG + Kleeman supercharger ran 11.7's all day.

3. A BMW 330 6MT ran 14.75's all day and was pissed that he wasn't even near my times. I heard him on the video say, "I should be beating that guy!". Their gears are so short that he was 1/2 way through 5th at the end of the track! I'm sure this alone cost a fari amount of time.

4. A mercedes SLK 350 ran a 13.99 stock

5. A BMW 323 ran a 15.5 stock

6. A 1000hp BMW 3 series snapped its driveshaft

 

was the 330 E46 zhp or E90? Im guessing it was a E90.

 

Nice numbers, way to represent!

 

BTW: I still think my G was the best looking car out there!
