Ran the Twin Turbo for the first time Friday

last friday my husband finally finished his car and decided to go to the drag strip to "test her out".....little did he know when me and my girlfriends were riding behind him on the way there, we decided to run the g

Now this was my first time....i was on street tires.....and again it was my first time evar! (so dont flame me okay )

My 1st run:

Reaction: .543
I1: 2.212
I2: 5.963
I3: 0.000
I4: 0.000

E.T. 8.932
MPH: 85.770

husbands run: (on radials - he does need slicks b/c radials dont even connect

Reaction: .319
I1: 2.156
I2: 5.622
I3: 0.000
I4: 0.000

E.T. 8.261
MPH: 95.460

My 2nd run:

Reaction: .619
I1: 2.488
I2: 5.759
I3: 0.000
I4: 0.000

E.T. 9.189
MPH: 85.459

Now after nearly pissing in my pants on the first run (b/c i was nervous). I have decided to get either drag radials or slicks for the next runs...

u dont neeeeeeed slicks, just feather the clutch at take off with drag radials, but with slicks would be the best. low 8's sound about right with drag radials, u might break 7's if u have slicks, but i highly doubt it.

funny, how did your husband trap 10 more mph in the 1/8th in an auto???

95 mph is nasty, that car is pretty fast, you should get it to the 1/4 mile on some good tires.

that car would go mid 11s if he really trapped 95 there, i would like to see some time slips
