1/4 mile times for 05+ 6MT Coupes

Hey guys.

I am seriously considering carrying my car to the tracks for the first time.

I just wanted to get some input from other 05 up 6MT coupe owners who have gone to the track as to what kinda 1/4 mile times you have run, so I can get an idea of what to aim for.

Is the car capable of breaking 13s stock, even a 13.9? I have an 06 Coupe 6MT.

Thanks.

It's capable of breaking into the 13's if you find a track at sea level and manage out a 2.0 or less 60 footer. I have seen a sedan do it

Realistically, you should aim for low 14's. But that's probably not going to happen if its your first time.

Work on the 60ft, and get consistency.

But we need to know which track you're going to. That's probably the most important thing aside from your experience.

+1 on what Henry said!

What track, location, and what's the weather arounf the area and if by any chance you know the elevation of the track.

And don't get mad if you get addicted to the track

High 13s have happened...but are rare. Well, I guess that depends on your location.

Here in Fl...it's very humid, which isn't good. I ran a best of 14.33 @ 99mph stock.

If he doesnt go to the same track you went to, these numbers are worthless.

You really can't compare numbers from two different tracks.

Try that in LACR

you can say that again! lol but they're not totally worthless. I mean, if he does state all the details on the track conditions like altitude, temperature and yada yada yada, then the OP can have a bit more of an idea if he gets in the same track conditions.

But seriously, where the heck is the poster Above Henry going to? what track cuz I sure as heck wanna take my G there! lol
