246whp on Sharif's Dyno Dynamics is pretty good. Sharif said that the Dyno Dynamics reads 9-13% lower than Dynojets and about the same as a Mustang Dyno. I just dynoed with him last week at 248whp, my MPH were a good 2 less than yours so I would have expected a tad more than that from your car on his dyno (255-260 range). Maybe its the colder weather? Have you done any weight reduction? I took out my spare but thats about it. If you want some 12's cams would get you there for sure. From what I read on my350z 1.7 60's are hard to come by NA, even with slicks, but I really dont see how. When I pulled the 1.9's on 18" BFG's i could tell that these cars have more in them, it was still pretty easy to spin the tires with upper rpms launches (4500+). If you can get a low 1.7 60' out of it the way it sits you should see a 13.0. If you want cams, take a look at the thread on My350z in the classifieds with the shop thats selling a set of JWT S2's for like $550. Install should run around $1000. $1550 for 10-15whp is a lot of money but, with your car, it should get you in the 12's and you would should the fastest NA 3.5 liter on the boards.

Trey-
That's moving and like I've told you for 2 years, I knew your car had those kinds of numbers in it. It was just a matter of 60 foot. It's pretty amazing that you're achieving those numbers short shifting into 2nd. With slicks, I think some low 1.8s/upper 1.7s are possible. I bet you could see some 13.1s in the 104mph range assuming you axles can handle the brutal launch and trying to move 3,400lbs at a fast pace from a standstill. If you do slicks, defintely consider where the track is and how expensive the tow home will be

Best was 14.1 at 100 I believe but I will post more later. I got very few runs and only about 3 or 4 without shifting problems. My "known issue" clutch problem went into overtime yesterday and I stopped running for fear that the car wouldn't make it home - and it almost didn't. She's being towed to the dealership Monday morning. Originally Posted by DaveB

So I was off with the slicks statement. But I was pretty much right on with the 13.2 with a 1.8 60', wasn't I Slicks are the only way that car is going to go sub 13.5s. I know it's got a 13.3 or even a 13.2 in it with a low/mid 1.8 60'

Not entirely true. The 13.2's weren't on the 1.8 60' runs. Originally Posted by DaveB

That means it would be good for 13.1 with 1.8 sixty foot.
Here are a bunch of videos that were taken at the track yesterday. They were filmed from the top of the tower, so visibility was good, but perspective was a bit off, and the timing/scoring boards aren't very legible in the videos.
In the first video I went 13.35. This was my third run of the day IIRC. You can tell that I bogged the launch. But listen to the shifts. I don't think anyone should question how fast I shift

Cheryl didn't announce the time for this run, but I *think* it was a 13.4 run.

I think this run is another 13.3 run.

And here are three videos of me vs my friend in his SRT-4. We put a Mopar Stage2 kit on his car last Christmas, and he just got it tuned a few weeks ago. He's still on street tires. Before yesterday, his best time was a 13.9. Now it's a 13.2 flat at 106mph. And even though it's FWD and on street tires, he cut a 1.996 on that 13.20 run.
Fortunately for me, I won each of our races. On the first race(and video), I cut a .003 light

And this last video shows my run against Cheryl. With all my mods and DR's, it's not exactly fair, especially considering she's having clutch problems. I think this is one of the runs where she couldn't get into 4th gear.

I didn't film the ones with no announcing on them I don't think. I think I said the times on all the ones I filmed and I didn't film any of yours sitting down because I didn't want the rails in the way. I think Josh or Skillet filmed those. I'm pretty sure the one of you and I was the 15 whatever run I had that was the last one of the day.
Yep, the first one with you and Josh is the first one I filmed because I was complaining about the zoom and I had run up all those damn stairs to get up there before you got to the light. lol

Oh for the love of god! I checked that damn list FOUR times before I said that and STILL missed that one. HOWEVER, it's still good for a 13.1 since only ONE of the 13.2's was on 1.8 sixty foot.

After seeing these videos, Manual shifting FTMFW! I dont care how advance the SMG or DSG or other BS there is no way it can shift as fast as this.
Awesome shifting Trey!

But, personally, I could care less. Nothing will ever take away the feeling & joy of having a clutch pedal & shifter. Nothing beats the fun factor of a true manual
.
