Thank you. I passed the staging line by a couple inches so I'm in reverse to get it aligned properly.. I wasn't even in drive and the lights starting going down. I was looking at my RPMS to brake torque, when I looked up it was already at the second yellow haha.

We were both modded but i'm sure his mods did better gains to his car.

in order for you to beat an auto with a person who can drive it, you have to be a hell of a driver on a 6mt. I never lost to a 6mt. but oh well maybe these people cant drive their autos. Some dont believe it but driver can make a diff in an auto car.

Yes we have triptronic..

Unless you're Aryton Senna or something you can't beat an auto with your 6MT.. That is a proven fact

Please remove yourself from this thread and come back when you have your facts straight.

A 5AT will shift faster than you ever could hope to do with your manual. FYI, there is no delay between shifts because the tranny is already in the next gear before the shift is completed. That's one of the many reasons why autos are preferred for drag racing.

Errm what are the shift times for the automatic..

The average manual car driver: 500 ms - 1 s

And I am assuming that is the DD shift times.. Because I know a lot of people shift faster than that..

I'm not trying to get nit picky but I dont think the Auto g35's have a DSG transmission.?
