anything short of a final drive change, the AT is going to fall behind with if the driver of the 6MT knows how to drive. This has been discussed numerous times.

Race and u will find out.

EDIT: Just saw that the driver is not that great then my money goes for the AUTO.

 

I'll take a wild guess and say the one that crosses the line first will win.

I was about to say the same.. I'm really really tempted to run nitrous on this car.

 

Ive been contemplating that for awhile I might venture in that direction just to see what I can do, I have all the nozzles and bottle around.

 

I don't think anyone is going to tell you that your car is faster that your buddy's 05 6MT.

Assuming both drivers are decent drivers, I'd say it's going to be extremely close and could go either way. If the 5AT driver doesn't have a clue on how to race the 5AT, he'll get smoked.

If this is Firebird Raceway and the drivers are decent, I'm predicting 14.6@95mph for the 5AT and 14.7@95 for the 6MT.

 

Id say the 6 spd will take you if he gets a decent launch..but if he cant lunch and you power break it then youll win

You're under estimating this ****ty track I go to.

Here is an example... Stock with just intake I was running 15.1 best at that track.

Then I went to over to another track 45 min away with just intake and I ran a 14.9 and that was a BAD run I shifted into 3rd very early.

Stock G37 which I see there almost every week runs a 14.6 best.

 

BTW I'm racing a girl and shes never been to the track in her life... She keeps on saying that I'm going to get beat by a girl and I will be put to shame so I called her out to the track.

I'm obviously going to own her LOL.
