Ran a 14.6 @ 93.61MPH w/ video

Could've done better, but the wind was blowing really hard against the track.

Here's the link to the video:

good run, but it seems your trap is a bit low. i ran mine at commerce in ga and got a 14.6 at 96.9mph. but i got a 2.3 on my 60ft. i only had intake at the time. how'd you launch it to get a 2.1 60ft?

I launched it at 1500-2000rpm with vdc off. I was in tip tronic mode and have shorter gears (3.5 FD). My wheels/tires set up are also smaller in diameter and lighter than stock.

what tire sizes are you running? i just got some coupe 19's and i need to find some good tire sizes. i was thinking maybe 225/40/19 or 235/35/19 for the fronts. the FD probably helped alot of low end power. what else are you doing to the car? i'm thinking about getting test pipes but i don't want the smell or raspy sound, but i heard you get good gains from it.

235/35/19 but I think a better size would be 245/35/19 all around. That's pretty much it for me as far as performance mods. Don't really see the car going any faster unless if I had 6MT. I'm just gonna drop the car and call it a day. My future mod will be to get another car in a year or two

Hate to say it, but the gears are why you're traps are kind of low. They're also hurting your ETs a bit. I've run at the track with a set of 24" tall drag radials mounted on 15" rims. The short tires effectively geared the car with a 3.55. On the same day, I also ran my stock height 17s (26.3"). With the 17s, the car did higher 14.4s@97.5mph. With the MUCH lighter 15" DR combo (15lbs lighter), the car did high 14.5s@95.5mph with the same 2.1 60 foots. The problem is the short tires forced an early shift into 4th which killed ET and MPH. 3.5 gears just aren't ideal for the 1/4 mile and the 5AT.

Are there any gears that are ideal for the 1/4 mile? Gears were one of my future upgrades. Haven't really looked into researching yet until I was ready.

That could be a factor, but I'm sure I could've done 14.4 if the wind wasn't blowing as hard as it was at the track.

Does your cruise control work with the gears?
