my co worker got a 1993 corvette with the 4 speed auto. It is totally stock. I have a 2004 g coupe 5 a/t. Who would win in a drag stock for stock? I have exhaust, spacer, headers, HFCs, and a z-tube. Should I be able to win with these mods?
Only one way to find out!
I believe the C4 vette had a 300 hp and around 340 ft-lbs of torque that year. His power/torque curve looks much better than ours does. His car is lighter but much older and could be worn out some. I think he might have the edge to 60 but you guys should be even in the 1/4. I think they run low 14's stock. Much of it will come down to the driver. Get a tune and lighten your load some and you should be set though.

It really depends on the condition of both cars.

Launch techniques, after that it's just mashing the throttle.

The only other thing I'm thinking is his car is 15 years old vs a 4 year old car. It may have lost some power by now. I think it will be close either way
