Just wondering If its possible to beat a IS350 with just bolt on Mods;

as much as i hate these threads, i will be nice.

i would usually say just take it to the track and see, because there are ALOT of different factors that can affect the outcome.
1. how often do you drag? and expierience in the g?
2. is the other driver been to the track and raced his IS?

Just got the G about 3weeks ago. Its A/T and I dont think drag racing an auto requires any skill. This would be this first time at the track with my G, I took my Z28 numerous times, My friend/Co-worker has never been to the track..... well he has gone several times but only as a spectator.

I smell bs on 12.8....

just to add to the "anything can happen".. I "beat" the SL500 in my tC once...
well.. I call is beat since I was the one who stayed on the road, did not kill the car, helped the driver out and called cops for him....

12.8 would be over a full second off the rated time of an is350.... i highly doubt one could run that stock. I've beaten a few IS350's with my mods but it is close as hell even with lots of bolt ons.

Stats from a 2006 IS... modded w/ minor bolt ons (exhaust and intake?)...

You know a "stock" is350 that did a 12.8? please show us... cus if thats true... a lot of G owners would be trading in for IS's...

Yep. A lightly bolted G35 will be neck to neck with the IS350. A tuned full bolt-on G35 will out pace any stock IS350.
