Wheel/tire setup WITH Brembo brakes

Hey guys. Since I had Jeremy retune the car a few months back, I'm looking for a proper drag setup to seriously consider running 11s.

I was running 265/40/18 BFG DRs before on the stock 18" wheels. My best 60' was only a 1.9. I'm looking to get low 1.7s. I searched my350 and some mentioned the 300zxTT wheels and the FDrx7 wheels.

Does anyone else have any experience with smaller, lighter wheels that will fit over the Brembos? Thanks.

There is a local guy here in chicago running 16in diameter wheels (drag radials) on the rear of his 350Z with brembos.
Not sure on offset. But 16s can clear.

I'm pretty sure Alberto runs the 16" Z32 rear wheels and they clear Brembos. You might search the web or call Turbo Toys and see if they have any.

It seems like the Mickey Thompson Street Radials work really well. They make a nice P255/50R16 (26'' x 10.5'' - 16'') that would fit the 16" rims. Here's a set at Jegs.

The advantage of drag radials is that you can drive to the track on them. Slicks will give you a better launch, but they don't do so well if it rains, and the heat encountered when driving them to the track usually isn't good for the compounds.

they do not fit without modifying the inside of the rim barrel
