Stock G35x...what to expect

My buddy is having a race event in April and wants me to run, but my Mustang won't be ready in time. I want to race my stock G just for the hell ouf it. It's bracket racing anyway.

What can i expect for times out of a stock stock AWD '06 on stock tires?? High 14's? Or can they get mid to low 14's?

Mid-high 14s. Your car is loaded down with nav and stuff so its a little heavier.

lol wel count on high 14s.

Which, really isnt terrible. That is still pretty quick. You are covering a 1/4 of a mile in 14 seconds haha

True...but i have friends with 12, 11 and a few 10 second Mustangs...so it's slow. I gotta pick on the heavy automatic convertibles

Well tell them your car can still haul 5 people and a trunk full of luggage AND drive through snow

That's fine with me. I'm not into racing it. I just want to take it for a spin down the 1/4 mile just out of curiousity.

14.7-15.0 @ about 95ish. Depending on the track conditions, DA and a good 2.0-2.1 60' would be my guess.

Pretty sure shifting wont do a thing to your times except potentially make it slower.

VDC off though. For sure!

When you goin to the track?

Track doesn't even open til April.

I'm running bracket racing in a charity race my buddy is running. Unfortunately the entire field is Mustangs, corvettes, camaros, GTOs, etc. It's for fun though so i don't care.

why would it matter what type of car you are line up with in a bracket. the g35x has a great advantage over all those cars listed, your not going to wheel spin much so therefore you times should be really close. best advantage going into a bracket.

now bring home a 14.5 =)

Oh i know it won't matter, but it still sucks when you line up next to a 10-second car and have a 5 second head start and he come chasing you down top end.

The whole point is i just want to see what I can do. I don't care if i win or lose the actual bracket race
