1/4 times for g35
#16
Grace of God I don't know. See my write-ups in this forum about staging, launching, and other tricks to improve your ET. In 1,200' DA, the car went 14.49@97mph with a low 2.2 60' with a handful of 14.5s that day. A few months later in the cool fall air with near sea level DA and no changes to the car, it went 14.3s@98mph with 2.1 60 foot with a few other 14.3s and 14.4s that day.
There's nothing suprising about these numbers. There are other people on this site that have run 14.2-14.4s@97-98mph in stock or almost stock 5AT sedans in decent conditions.
FYI, my first day out in the car netted a 14.69@97mph with an off idle launch and slow upper 2.3 60'. I did a hot lap and stalled it to 2400rpm and cut a high 14.4 with a low 2.2 60'. If I launch off idle and let the car shift itself, it runs 14.7s just like the mags get. If I brake stall, manually shift the 2-3, and hold 3rd, it does 14.3-14.4. There's a lot more to driving the 5ATs than people think.

waaayyyy too many variables to make any blanket statement about 1/4 mile times.
track location, ambient temps, track condition all play major factors. The same exact car could run on entirely different tracks and have vastly different ETs
My sedan will beat the majority of the NA nonrevup cars listed here… however, the track I run is one of the worst in the country so any ET I post wont reflect this (those that know the car wont deny it though).
When will people stop forum racing?

Any car can have variable 1/4 mile times even in the same exact track and tires. Launch and driver skill play a big role.
But low 14's on a stock 6MT sounds about right. My friend who has an 07 350Z ran high 13's yesterday.

if your et for 5 AT is 14.6-14.8s ,my 06 G35 sedan 6MT time is 14.1, trapspeed 94-95 mph, but oil in rear axle was low quality, now i use Motul PA90 and car was like born again after oil repl at rear axle. so 6 MT possibility nearly stock is 13,6-13.8s with extra chilky weather when g37 can do 13.09s in track.
