Went To The Track 1/8 Mile at Qualcomm

First off this is not a dedicated track. It's just a parking lot. No sticky VHT and the burnout box is simply water poured down on the pavement with a taco bell cup out of a bucket. I noticed that everybody wasn't hooking at all.

NO traction off the line for me. My tires are horrible. My rear tires are Eagle RSA's (crap) on OEM 19's at 32 PSI.

My Kill list:
Mustang GT
RX-8
Nissan Sentra B15
Prelude
HHR SS
Camaro Z28

My Best time of the night...not impressive

Reaction: .585
60ft: 2.267 (crappy Eagle RS-A's ARRGGG!)
MPH: 77.19
ET: 9.368

Only mod is a Z-tube.

Race legal huh? I used to go there all the time when I lived in SD. I've won a couple of trophys for bracket racing and reaction time .501. My best time N/A there was 9.2 and 8.4 when I was boosted.

Try not to race on the right track the left side has more traction and is longer to brake for the high power domestics.

Those guys leave a lot of rubber on the ground just try to line up in their groove next time.

Great! Next time I go, I'll take out the extra gear in the trunk plus spare. I was also running 3/4 tank full.

play around with your tire pressure. I usually lower mine 25-28 psi. How many runs did you get?

If you want to get alot of runs get there when they open the gates. I usually get in 10-12 runs doing it that way.

Also if your in the military or know someone in the military you can race cheaper if you buy your ticket on base.

Yeah, I got there when the gates opened. I got about 10 runs. Worst run was when I left VDC on by accident and got a 9.8 and 2.5 60ft.

I noticed the right track was worse. All the v8 guys lined up on the left track. Longer wait, but well worth it.

Yes, I am military. I'll get my tickets on base next time.

I wonder what the other G's were running.
