Ran the 05 Sedan 5A at the track yesterday, only got two runs in. Conditions were fair but a big headwind. Launched it at 2200rpm off the foot brake and manually shifted it. Ran a 2.2 60 foot time, 14.5 at 96mph. That's a new best for me, the car gained a solid 3 tenths at this track for me with the Z1 plenum spacer and JWT popcharger with the same 60 foot time...

 

not bad, i bet you could squeeze out a 14.3-14.4 with a 2.1 60' and better conditions. My PB on my 05 is a 14.500@96.44 MPH with just a Z-tube and K&N. The track/weather conditions were excellent that evening. The DA that night was -196!

 

Infineon Raceway is a slow track. I run 2 tenths faster consistantly at Sac Raceway but it's too far away. So it will do a 14.3 with a 2.2 60 foot time at Sac as it sits right now and like a 14.1-14.2 with a 2.1 60 foot on a good night...

 

Your car is a lot faster than mine. I mustered only a 14.7 and i have more mods.

 

One of the keys is to make sure the engine is nice and cold. When it's heat soaked the engine retards timing significantly...
