Transgo @ the track

I recently added a transgo shift kit to my stillen VB. The shifts are night and day compared to the Stillen. I can chirp the tires on the 1-2 shift and sometimes on the 2-3 in a auto.

Well granted these are not my normally faster runs due to the high DA (temps and humidity). The best I could do was 14.2@101 my fastest at this same track is 13.4@101.

The video is to show the shift kit in action at the track. Enjoy and more videos to come soon when it gets cooler.

I raced a new challenger R/T and probably would of beat him or gotten closer if I had traction. I was on street tires and he was on DRs.

How were your 60's? DA for my track yesterday was 2600ft so I had no interest in running. I would imagine that the DA near you was probably close to that.

2.2 I usually between 1.9 and 2.1 at this track on a good day on street tires. I knew my times would be crappy I just wanted to run with the shift kit. I think the DA was around 1500-1700 and with the humidity there was dew on the track.

What track did you go to? I plan on moving to the owning mills area in the next few months.

Hopefully we can hit the track one day when I move to MD.

Mason-Dixon usually.......I actually didn't go because when I calculated the DA I just opted against it and went to the meet-up in Sterling.

Mason is ~600ft, but it is a bit cooler than other MD tracks. It isn't uncommon for the DA's to go negative in mid-late Oct.

You should see if you can borrow AJ's DR's.

Also, we usually have a track day for the z's in the fall, but I don't know of anyone being planned. I'll keep you updated if it happens (usually at Mason).

I think so if you like to race from time to time or plan on going FI yes.

Here is a video before the upgrade with just the Stillen which shifts faster than stock, but not as quick or firm as the Transgo.

I shift at the same RPM between 6700-7k my rev limit is 7200.

I don't remember I had that installed 4yrs ago. I think it's between 2500-2800 I just had my stock converter modified by them. I didn't want anything too extreme just better than stock.

normal you can't even tell. I've given a couple of people a ride and they couldn't tell until I floored it.

I will agree with the above statements, i have a manual g and my buddy has an auto. We did the trango kit, and i yank him hard on the gears, but he pulls up on me with the shifts, now he has a vortech and leaves me in the dust. FML.
