We had a goal and we were determined to get faster. This is the fastest pass to date on our KA-T and 7.40's are right around the corner!! The engine blew with about 400FT left. This motor lasted a total of 39 passes at the track and close to 100 passes on the dyno for tune/setup. I am so proud of our Team and extremely happy for my boss, Javy Ortiz. Without the collective support of our Friends, Families, Customers and Employee's this time would of never been achieved.

PS - We broke the record at Honda Day!! The people that ran the event we sponsored were kind enough to let us do a couple practice runs in between the down time of the event.

No problem, I was curious since I had the idea that the KA didn't handle boost well, I had a 240sx back in the day with the SR20DET swap, and I went that route because my builder said that the KA was not a good platform to go boosted.

The KA24DE is a STOUT motor. Very torquey and can handle alot of boost. I miss my old 95 altima with the KA, it was bulletproof. The SR20DE(T) is a great motor too, its factory turbo'ed and swaps easily in the 240SX, which is a main reason its a popular choice.
