i would think a reasonable person that takes the car racing in any situation, would make sure the car has been maintained properly before doing so not only for it to actually go as fast as the car is capable of but also for it to be safe to drive in racing conditions. Its not ****, its commons sense which you obviously lack. It doesn't matter if its a ferrari or a toyota camry. If that wasn't the case, my sedan wouldn't be one of the fastest NA Gs in Socal.

Have a nice day with your sarcasm and don't complain about the G being slow anymore.

wow.. common sense.. i am guessing you change your synthetic oil @ 3000 miles, too.. lol.. I think I don't have a problem keeping up with maintenance..

I am glad that not changing my plugs before 35k will endanger my life in that 10 seconds of my life that i raced my car in the 7+ years that i've owned it..

and congrats having the fastest NA G in SoCal that is still slower than a stock Mustang GT..

fully stock.. i think the civic si had a passenger in it also..

I am just saying that new cars with new technologies built-in could actually surpass our almighty, but aged vq engines..

look at the new lexus LS.. 4.6L, 380hp, and still get better gas mileage than our G's...

60k might be a better suggestion.. but i just drive this car slow and normal.. we'll see how the plugs look this weekend.

your 03.. whats rated at 260, I think? and adding 105k miles to it. I'd say your peak hp isn't there any more, regardless of tune ups or not.

Your G is an old man already. Your G sets examples for Infiniti showing that the VQ motor can last.

but now your comparing 03 technology with 2010 technology.. in 3years the 2010 is going to be outdated by performance and technology. So eitheir way as a consumer were screwed.

oh yea.. next time try brake boosting.

i wasn't crying.. but i must admit that i was pretty sad..

but.. just because you were being a smartass.. i will be doing the following this weekend:
1. spark plug change
2. throttle body cleaning (kinda scared after seeing the instructions and warnings)
3. coolant change.
4. take my car to the dealer for the differential change... maybe to a import shop...

and then i will drive around my city to find a corolla to race.. and post results.

to add some additional stuff that will make a difference is running a fuel system/injector cleaner through your car.
