I know it's a little early, but I would like to put together a G35/G37/350z/370z drag day at cecil county dragway on Nov 20th.

Cecil has test and tune on saturdays from 9am-4pm for $35. The last time I was there was a couple of 350zs' we all put down personal bests.

If your interested in racing or watching put your name on the list.

Bring your car out and see what it can do. I will post this on my350z also.

By God running in the late Fall at one of the quicker tracks in the nation better result in personel best times. Color me jealous that you guys have a quick track at stays open well into the cold months. Good luck!

 

Hopefully I will be faster this yr. I will have slicks and will try some weight reduction this time. I have a little more power than last yr also.

I ran my 13.23 last yr on street tires and no weight reduction in Dec. The last 2 track days are in Dec (weather permitting) the temps are in the low 40's.

Cecil is the last track to close in this area.

I think when I lived in Socal I only got 4-6 1/4mile runs a yr!! I think I've done over 50 in the last 2yrs since moving back to the east coast.

I will try to make it out. I need to see whats up with my car, seems a little off. The other week I was down there and couldn't trap higher than 101.8mph. I trapped 102mph bone stock and made a few 103mph passes last time out with just an intake and HR y-pipe on the winter wheels. Since then I've done plenum, spacer, test pipes, +2 deg timing etc. *hrmph*

 

2 more days so far 6-8 cars are going. Temps will be high 50's with a 10% chance of rain.

 

Not going to make it to this one guys, Car went into the shop for the weekend and has had an attack of the slip/vdc off bug again. Dont know when im getting it back. Talk soon and be sure to take video. Mike

No problem they have TNT next saturday and DEC 4th. The weather looks good for next Saturday.

The best I could run today was 13.5@105 the prep wasn't that good today.

 

I may actually come, but I need decent tires.....

 

What day? I think most will come out on the 4th hopefully the weather will be good.

I will be tuned on the giggle juice by then just need to convince AJ to do the same.

I was the only G there with 1 M45 (Mexillis) and 2 350z's AJ and Pat Bateman hopefully more people will show on the 4th.

 

I'm going to be out of town that weekend....I am not sure I really want to run anyway....my car will be slower in a straight line this year.
