It's been my experience that VQ motors get stronger with age. My 03 5AT sedan with a Z-tube did 14.3s@98mph with 70K on the clock. There are bonestock 4th gen (95-99) 5MT Maximas (VQ30) out there running 14.4-14.6s@93-94mph.
