disappointing first time

Well last night I went to the drag strip for the first time.I went to san antonio raceway in Texas. First of all my only power mods are stilling intake and z tube, motordyne spacer and berk hfc, and I had on stock wheels with Goodyear 245s as well. Ok so now for the times, for the first 8 ish passes I ran 14.9x 2.4x 60ft at 96-97! What is going on! Isn't this car supposed trap 99 stock?!!! I couldn't figure out what was going on, I
waashamed

So then I took I dropped the tire pressure more and tightened my rear shocks some (dspecs ) and I was able to make a few 14.6x 2.3x 60ft 97-98 mph passes. Though I got better I was still disappointed. Anyone have ideas on what's going on? Even with the slow times and still had fun and plan to go back soon.

what was altitude there. also barametric pressure and outside temp...it all plays a part. example at sea level at the Jerseyshore on a 65 degree day my car feels like a handful..

it's the weather in 3k+ DA your car is making less than 100% of it's power check out the da calculator on dragtimes and input your times for a corrected sea level time.

Feel a little better now? If you get your 60ft down to the 2.1-1.9 range you will be running 13's.
