First time @ the 1/4 mile!! 07 G35S 5AT

I took my 07 G35s 5AT to the 1/4 mile for the first time and I think I did pretty good since my only mod is a Stillen gen 3 intake and is a family sedan. By looking at my 60ft and 1/8 mile times I should've done like a 13.6-5 sec, I guess I need some HFC and a tune!! Track was Brandon Motorsports great track by the way!!

Dang

Not to bad man! I'm amazed at that hr motor wish I had the money to drop one in my 05 coupe. Just think if you had twin turbo! Realy if you had a shift kit and the exhaust with tune I think you would be in low 12 on NA and that's low for a sedan. Good luck with future mods and hope to see some numbers soon.

Thanks man! I have an exhaust but its a y-pipe back so I don't think it really does anything power wise, now with HFC, a tune, grounding kit and better tires I should be somewhere in the low 13's.

Keep it in drive sport, but when you are in 3rd past 90 mph flick the left paddle shifter and hold it to redline. You will literally hit the limiter right at the 1/4 mile marker and gain a solid 2 mph extra trap, that 60 foot is good for 13.5-13.6

Here's my 2007 G35S sedan 5AT runs doing this. 2nd run was .2 slower because of worse 60 foot.
