1/8 mile racing

I figured I'd post this since this section has been dead lately. Went to Race Legal this Friday at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego. Was my first time using drag radials and a GoPro. First run of the night was my fastest since they hadn't thrown any water down in the lane yet. Every other run I was fighting for traction off the line.

Current tune: 491whp/483wtq
Tires: MT ET Street (305/35/18)
PB: 8.076 @ 94.74, 60ft: 2.158

The car that goes flying past me at the end was an AMG, he had good tires because he was launching damn near perfectly all night. His time: 8.062 @ 91

Nice!! What is your stall? Did you brake tq launch for the high stall?

The Q is always slippery it was like that when I ran there yrs ago.

How are you liking the car big difference from before your build?

I'm not sure what the stall is on it, it feels very close to OEM. I was brake torquing but the RPM was in the mid 2K's. The car is definitely faster then when it was N/A and I like that. Just need to solve the traction issue on street tires so I don't have to baby it all the time.

Went to the 1/8 mile track in Irwindale this Thursday. Was having traction issues on some of the runs but overall the ET Street radials worked good.

Best time:
7.955
60': 2.021
MPH: 93.40

From today at Autoclub Speedway's 1/4 mile track. First time at this particular track as well. Tires hooked the majority of the times and had some slight wheel hop issues on one of the runs. At first I thought my times sucked since I was averaging 12.5 @ 112, but I figured it wasn't too bad after seeing what everyone else was running.

Best run:
12.318
60': 2.001
1/8: 7.973
1/8 MPH: 91.31
1/4 MPH: 113.00
