If I don't feel like messing with the person next to me, I normally let them take off first so their launch doesn't distract me. Then you can reel them in for fun.

You do know that when the light turns green you don’t have to go right then. You can wait and go when you’re ready, because the time doesn’t actually start until you hit the first sensor. Bro, you're not really telling me the facts about dragging, are you? Of course I know an EVO should have raped me...he admitted to having a bad start and he was the faster car, I just won the race. I never go on the green, always on the 3rd yellow...gives me .150 reactions (or .650 if they aren't starting .500 at zero)...I consider myself a pretty good driver...just need to get this new clutch and flywheel down.
