Yeah, you came off the line a bit weak, I heard more clutch slip than tire slip. This is a tough car to launch properly. It may take a clutch replacement to get it down (I mean a LOT Of launches). I think you are also reving it out a bit much, I know you, most likely could feel it dropping off about 6-6.5K, try shifting a bit sooner to keep it in the power area.
You do need a small bit of tire spin to get full advantage on the line. It's very tough to get that sweet spot between a perfect launch and tire smoke.

That's a pretty solid 60-footer if that's on street tires. You might be able to squeak out a 1.9-2.0 but thats tough to do on everyday rubber. A 2.1 60-footer on street tires is VERY good your first time out.
You could always try drag radials and dump the clutch, but too much can go wrong there, but it will drop your 60's possible to the 1.7-1.9 range.
Gaining 20MPH from 1/8 to 1/4 is pretty typical of a low 14/high 13 second car. 98MPH should be able to get in the high 13's on street tires, but will require some practice. Yup,.. I am on street tears.. all seasons matter of fact, they've been on my car for 3 years now so the traction is probably trash from that as well haha

and im fully bolted on(beside headers) + uprev tuned
I've heard of people going 13.8 with just an exhaust and an intake (with a revup though). I'm going in a few weeks after i get my tune and after i install my mrev and 5/16 spacer so i hope to get 13.6 at least here, since everyone says Sacramento raceway is a "fast" track.

I got 13.8 @104/105 with just an Exhaust/spacer (which is useless on a Revup without an MREV2) at Sacramento Raceway. As you can see in the video below, I didn't launch very hard and had a little problem with wheel hop.

& besides, why knock on civics at tracks? a good majority of them are civics.. and alot of them are 10 second cars lol.
civic hatch gave a gtr 2 second head start and still beat him that same day.

I jut don't like honda's, maybe because of my old mitsubishi days lol. I think they're reliable cars that get great gas mileage but are terribly underpowered. I know the majority of the racing community is honda but the one that are running 10-11 seconds are most likely open header non daily drivers. My friend at work has a honda civis si and were always arguing about which car is better.

Hondas used to not be as underpowered as they are now. Back in the day with their 100hp/L engines, they were hot ****. That's a pretty awesome engineering feat. Of course, all the real fast ones are gutted huge turbo civics. There are two at my local track that absolutely rape 90% of the cars at the track. Only cars that beat them are the obvious ones (Porsche tts, one guy with a built evo and some other truly dedicated, fully built track cars)
