Was called out by cousin with his gsr swapped eg hatch so this past Friday we went to Richmond Dragway. My first time out with the car I beat beat Him now he wants a rematch. I made 2 passes. I think I can get a 2.0 60ft, that should get me a 14.0 or even a 13.9

Another 14.2 @ 98

Yea he had some wheel spin you can tell by his 60ft. We both were on street tires. I Did Not burnt out, drove around the water and didn’t lower tire pressure. He did a quick dry hop after driving around the water.

Takes about 40whp to drop 1/4 second when already running low 14's.

The car is stock and on street tires but I can do better on my 60ft and that can get me down to 13.9-14.0 with a 2.0. Seeing how I hit 14.2 with 2.1 60ft

I'm sure with mods/tune I will get deep into 13s

Sadly with bolt ons and a tune you won't get "deep" into the 13's. You'll need to spend a ton of money on FI to get there. Our motors were designed well from the factory and Nissan has wrung most of the useable HP out of them. MY GTO is bone stock and runs 13.1 in the quarter and my G was putting out 260 HP to the wheels with :
Plenum spacer
MD ART pipes
MD XYZ
MD Sedan VQ exhaust
R2C intake
Osiris tune
3.5 diff
and it wasn't getting anywhere near 13.1. Set your goals high but be realistic with expectations. You should definitely be able to get your 60ft. under 2 seconds and that will obviously help a lot.

Sadly never tracked it so I have no clue and it's a 5AT.

oh ok. It would probably do pretty good with 260 wheel @sea level and low DA. I have been going to the track for years with all my cars so I couldn’t help but try this one out. I posted in the top 25 time thread but it looks like I wasn’t added to the list yet. According to the list My stock time should put me in 3rd place for stock de.

I plan on going back in the future, stock and with mods. This car is fun to drive and I have seen some clean G’s on here. Definitely giving me ideas on what direction to go with mine

Went out to the track again and made a few passes. Best time was 14.2 again. Still on all season tires, no burnout, dry hopped the tires. Launched around 3,000 rpms. Video added to 1st post. Thanks for looking
