G35c 5AT is made for bracket racing
Well, entered my first bracket racing event at the Import Face-off car show in Dayton Ohio today.
About 25 cars were registered in the 14.99 and faster bracket, and I only had one close race. Got a little boring leaving it in auto mode and just launching over and over at 2400 rpm, but I dialed in at 14.80, and ran 14.95, 14.85, 14.88, and 14.83 that I can remember
That high up in the bracket time gives you a big advantage, since you are leaving first the other racer is tempted to foul when you leave the lights and they are still waiting
The best run was the last, my adversary and I both had 14.80 dial in, but I got him at the hole shot with at .5379 RT vs his .7590
All in all, did a lot of racing and put $80 in my pocket from the prize money, no trophy though

man, you are waiting until you see the green...arent you?? Your reaction time is pretty bad - work on that if you want to keep winning. You should be in the .2 and under range. I dont bracket race, just regular drag and most of the time am under .16. Just go when you see the 3rd yellow...you think you are going to redlight, but you wont - especially if you stage real shallow - stop as soon as the second staging light comes on, dont roll forward any. This way, you will be able to get more speed up before you hit the start light.

So on that last run my R/T was either .5379 or .0379, depending on how you measure it. I have averaged .13 over a 16 run Test & Tune last Saturday

The 13.88 time is with nitrous, dyno at 262.5whp/305ft.lbs torque on the bottle.......hehe
