Thumbs up Drag Day November 13th

Well, summer is over in most parts of the country and the changing of the leaves means cooler weather and MORE HORSEPOWER !!!

With that in mind, please join a group of G35 drivers in giving thanks for their cars in the best way possible---DRAG RACING !

November 13th is G35 DRAG DAY at US41 International Dragway. This is a great family-run track (read: not fancy) with decent prep, and the ability to make as many runs as you would like. Most of the other tracks in the region are so crowded that you may spend all day there in order to get 2-3 runs.
I think one member is STILL hot-lapping the track from last Drag Day…….you know who you are.

Here is a link to the track: http://www.us41dragway.com/

If anyone has questions, please feel free to PM me, or email to ChicagoX at Gmail dot com.

Rain date is the 20th of November.

Come run, watch, learn and generally have a good time in the company of other G35 drivers. You won't leave hungry, and a great time is guaranteed!!!!!!!

You'll be happy to know that I got a new clutch, tranny, and 14lb flywheel for the upcoming event. Also, got my rear camber at -1.4 vs -2.0 and polyurethane bushing on the camber and radius rods, and new Tokico D-specs, and new Toyo T1-S. Hopefully, a 60' of 2.0 is common and not the exception.

I just need to ask if someone here has coil overs on there car that plans on drag racing? \
Tein C/S would be the best setup. I bet with the proper setup on setup you can pick up 3/10 on the 1/4 mile. Pasta

Pasta: Riffster should be coming, and he runs a full Tein setup w/ EDFC. I bet full hard in the front and full soft in the rear would benefit weight transfer and consequent traction greatly.

Great
You understand what IM talking about!
I would love for someone to raise there frt. up 2 inches with a very soft setting for lift.
The back I would setup a preload of driver side soft setting at a 1" lift and back right side lift of 2' lift with a firm setting. The fact of raising the car would help adding some positive caster.
Understand the pinion angle now should plant the rear more with force.
This could be fun to see what a G can do. I wish I had time to join you fun loving guys.
IM sure with a few test's we could get real close. Let me know what your thinking? Maybe I could fly there for the weekend. Pasta

We would LOVE to have any and all of you.

Cost: I believe $20 or $25 dollars to run, $5 or $10 to spectate.

I will bring food/drinks for all. Let me know if you want anything special.

Gates open at 8am, racing at 9 until 3pm.

If you out-of-towners need a place to crash the night before, or need info on a cheap hotel, PM me.

We hope to see you there!!!

powerhouse,

That's exactly what we've been doing. It's much more fun in a caravan
