Drag Day November 13th
The track was great and my BLACK 5 AT 350 Z STILLEN posted its quickist time for the year. 13.0 @ 104.7. The track staff of I- 41 did a great job as I got several 60 ft times in the 1.853 to1.933 . the only problem was the 25 mile per hour winds that cut into you as you went down the track.
When talking to some people who ran on Saturday they told us that they lost between 2 to 3 tenths on Sunday. It was a 10 hour drive from Canada but it was worth it.
You guys are great, and the food they cooked was really good.
Had some great races with the stillen G35 X. His car is quick and comes out of the hole like lighting. Had to run him down all the time and some of the drags came down to the wire. The runs I had with some of the other cars (mustangs and camaros were good lost some, won some, got killed by some) all i had for tires were the 19 inch toyos. They all had drag radials or slicks. This make a huge difference in the first 100 ft. Could never make the distance back up. The best race I lost was to the black Mustang cobra. My 13.1 to his 12.8. The difference was out of the hole as I kept up to him once we got going but his 60 ft times did me in.
Thanks for inviting me and I will be back next year with slicks, torque converter,ECU flash and line lock.
Hope to run 12.6 or 12.7's next year, and will to show those none Nissan products what a 350 z can do againts the fords and chevys.
