I have an Infiniti g35 coupe 5AT and I was at the track tonight and I was slotted to race a guy with a turbo WRX, not an sti but a WRX with a turbo kit. I pulled a 0.05 rt on him.. his was? 0.6 I ran a 14.48 98.21 and beat him when he ran a 13.995 lol. It was just funny to see a WRX get ripped out of the hole like that.

What do you mean turbo WRX (seems redundant)? A WRX w/ boost control (to 18psi) or another kit?

Good race, nice RT!

Wow, bone stock...the regular subaru WRX is faster than the g35. I believe it's a single turbo 4 cylinder pushing like 230 hp, maybe more?

With a boost controller and a few simple mods, they become even that much faster.

I don't know what kind of mods you have, but he must be an unbelieveably awful driver if you beat him.

reaction time has nothing to do with beating him out of the hole. its more or less about your 60' time. anyways gj on killing a subbie with a sh*tty driver

btw i read your other thread. him being "scared" to spool up on the launch proves my point that he is a sh*tty driver. anyone with AWD knows the key to beating anyone out of the hole is to load up to about 5K and drop or feather whichever their clutch prefers.

I can say this b/c i raced my evo night and day and perfected my launch on that car. Spool at 3400 so if i reved anything under 4200 i would bog. Consistently dropped the clutch at 5K and beat everyone out the hole.
