Best 60' is a 2.15. 05 6MT Sedan, with oem goodyear nct5 summer tires. Temps were in the low 80's. Launch technique included revving to ~3000, dropping the cluch and punching the throttle at the same time. Got plenty of wheelspin.

*** NOTE ***
It has been explained many many times that dropping the clutch "IS A BAD THING." I do not recommend it. But the OP asked for launch technique, and that is what I used on this run.

Mods at the time: ztube, 350z midpipe

Car: 03 sedan 5AT

Mods: Z-pipe

Tires: Turanza EL42

Best 60': 2.15

Average 60': High 2.1s

Launch style: foot on brake, when the ambers on the tree light up, I floor the gas, then release the brake on the third amber. Bascially I'm holding the throttle and brake for about 1 second.

Havent ran the G yet, but Im hoping to pull a 2.0-2.1 60'. The best 60ft I have gotten so far was a 1.68 60' and that was in my friends 220fwhp allmotor gutted civic hatch, and we were running it on 23" MT slicks.

I think I got a 2.17 once. Others have been in the 2.25 range. 1st at the track with the G was bad........2.36 and a 2.41 '05 G35 Sedan 6MT

Best 60' times me ever were in my Procharged 94 Mustang GT Automatic convertible (stock 17" rubber) 1.92. I don't know how I pulled that one off

The other best was my 96 Ford Explorer Limited 5.0 AWD (w/ nitrous!!!)
Spraying out of the hole would launch that beast witha consistant 1.91 60' time chirping all 4 tires. Oy yeah, that tank had to be close to 5000# !!!!!

2.06 is my best 60' and was on a 13.6 time at 102.

Car has Injen CAI, Borla TD, pulley, Crawford plenum and was on my 19' axis milanos with 275/30 Toyos.

I rev to about 2500 then slip the clutch and gradually put it to the floor.

Its a rough launch technique on my clutch but I was going for a good time.

I am usually under a 2.1 using this method.

2.200

edit - NO brake torque at all. Pulled up and staged (shallow) and floored in on the last yellow light.

You really should try to stall up the torque converter at least a little. I think your 60 foots would come down quite a bit. I've never raced any automatic car whether it be a small displacement V6 like in the G35 or Maxima or something with a ton more torque like an LT1 F-Body or 5.0 Stang that doesn't need at least a stall rpm to get the maximum launch possible.

Well I am going to try and find my slips from the trips to the 1/8 mile track. Trey swears that I had a high 2.1 60' from there but I don't recall one yet. Thus far with my car doing the brake torque has had little effect or has actually hurt me. I didn't brake torque at all last night and if you check the other thread (Trey's thread about the 13.7) I was much more consistant than I have been in the past on 60' times. Now I have not written the brake torque technique off but I am not convinced either - at least not with my car.
