Raced another GT 04 body, black, manual and loud as hell...dude kept taking off in front of me he did that 2 times, and kept throwing up peace out the windown, but each time I would very slowly catching him, but once the gap would get about half a car at mid to the end of 4th gear, he would slow down... so I pull up next to him at the stop light and say "yo lets go now heads up, instead of you keep taking off in front of me", so hes like "okay", and looks kinda worried... anyways light turns green, and we are off....we are both spinning hard, but I have about half a car on him off the launch... (I actually remembered to slip the clutch a tad so I wouldnt stay in place burning out), and by the end of 4th Im about a car and a half ahead, and just slow down.

As I slow down the guy pulls up next to me and yells "yo turn around lets go again!"... lol ...so I'M like "aiiiiiight lets go rolling now since u got humped from a stop!", and told him to go on the 3rd honk, and he agrees... so we roll in 1st, at about 30 mph and I honk 3 times, but RIGHT before the 3rd honk he goes before me, but doesnt go too far.....this race I put a lil over a car on him, almost a car and a half but not quite..by far a pretty quick car and must of been modded cuz it was loud as hell and seemed alot faster than any other year GT I have raced.

our cars arent that slow to only win against a V6 by a car 1/2....and its pretty easy to tell just by the sound from a V6 and V8 mustang

 

LOL, yea Mario7760 is a homo and knows that no 04 and down 260hp Mustang GT can beat a 280hp 03 G35 coupe... I had a 2000 Saleen and the car was a nightmare and I can see Mario has one, sucks for you.. An over priced junk stang is what it was that can't beat any sports car in its price bracket... 4.6L mustangs don't respond well at all to simple bolt on mods as in intake and exhaust... But if some dude was throwing peace signs out the window at me like his s h i t was fast I would have put the hazords on and flashed the middle finger out the window and then flash the peace sign and say to myself peace out Biznitch...

 

oh yea my G35c is an 05 6mt of course...I need to get these races on video so I can post up threads and wait for all the hating, then bam real proof....a friend of mine wants to make some videos of his evo vs an srt4 maybe I will get in on the fun and show u guys how much we can actually keep up with those cars with the right driver....I cant beat his evo but I can hang for pretty damn long, and I want to see what I can do against him on the freeway.

 

If this is the case, your buddy needs to learn how to drive. From a dead stop there is no way you should be able to hang with a evo unless for some reason you able to pull 1.8 60ft's Remember the whole 4-wheel drive thing..... From a roll, your car should actually have the advantage.

Yea 1999 18 PSI turboed 525rwhp mustang hhmm you ment crank horse power right dummy!?!?1999 Saleens started out with 260hp to 285hp depending on the options you selected (and I am not including the Xtreme SC version) and your turbo at 18 PSI is giving you 265hp to make 525hp I will subtract some for head and cam work if you want lol!?!? Plus 1999 was the worst year for Saleen and SVT Cobra's since none of their cars met the power requirements they were claiming.. For you to reach 525hp on a 99 Saleen you are talking about spending an easy and I mean easy 25 to 30 thousand dollars on top of the 40 thousand your car cost new.. So you spent 70 thousand on a JUNK STANG??? Oh yea anytime you are in a real city like Miami, FL PM me douche haha Oh yea since you have so much money to turbo that Saleen why aren't you a Premier memeber.......

 

rustangs are a joke. i smash on them once a week. on my way to work.
there are so many mustangs around the NORTHSHORE here. and only a few that are reallly fast, the rest are posers...... GT=ez win. even in my sedan.
but the GTO's are fast.
