Whenever I try and do Feint (Inertia) style drifting, my G always starts to push when turning away from the corner to shift weight. Anybody have any ideas on how to counter this?

Next time I go out, I am going to try and apply light pressure to my brakes to shift weight forward to easily kick out the rear.

Yes the G does tend to push out when you feint. My advice from personal experience is to use it to your advantage to look bad ***. Start the drift early and stay on the gas so you can drift out away from the turn then slack throttle and switchback to drift into the corner. Happy Sliding!

 

I'll definitely have to try that out. Luckily, the place we go to has a wide patch of asphalt, so it's totally doable.

 

ya my experience is the same that it will push out of the apex but its not a big deal I have gotten used to it and now it is an advantage.

 

from a physical standpoint - better tires..better suspension. because of the weight...it can't help but push. from a driver input, you may have to litterally have the car pivot off the front tires...meaning getting on the brakes hard and clutch kick back on the throttle hard at the point of entry. that's how we used to drift 3rd gen camaros. it's to induce the most angle as possible.
