Clutch squeeking when pressing

My clutch on 03' 6mt is squeeking when I push on the pedal. I talked to an Nissan mechanic about this and he told me to just replace the pedal assembly. Well, today I sprayed some WD-40 on the clutch pedal axle and found out that the squeeking sound is coming from underneath the chasis. I guess it can't be the pedal assy because pedal assy is located inside the cabin and the sound is coming from underneath the chasis. I can barely hear it when the window is up. But with the windows down, "Squeek~squeek" It's ebarrassing.
What do you guys think?
